Overview
Our KIPP scholars and alumni are setting a high bar for their futures – earning college degrees, starting businesses, serving in our country’s military, and more.
Through KIPP Forward, we’re supporting KIPP scholars and alumni to find their best-fit college and career pathways.
Starting in middle school, KIPP Forward counselors provide guidance and support as our KIPPsters choose and prepare for the path that fits their goals and sense of purpose. Once our alumni are on their way, KIPP Forward teams help them keep moving forward while pursuing their dreams.
High School Transition Support
We work closely with scholars and families to navigate the transition from middle school (KIPP Tulsa College Prep) to high school (KIPP Tulsa University Prep), so that our KIPPsters’ educational experience is as seamless as possible.
College and Career Readiness
We offer college and career seminar courses in 9th and 10th grade that prepare scholars for the rigor of a college course. In 11th and 12th grade, we provide personalized college and career preparation, including college match guidance, scholarships, and college visits.
Dual-Enrollment Partnership
KIPP Tulsa partners with Tulsa Community College (TCC) to offer a dual-enrollment program called KIPP Edge. Through this program, KIPP Tulsa University Prep scholars can start their college careers while still in high school, taking courses through TCC while completing their studies at KIPP. KIPP Edge scholars complete 12th grade with a high school diploma from KIPP and an Associate’s degree from TCC. Learn more about KIPP EDGE.
